Hey guyz,

I'm just wondering, how you can achieve those wet looking ringlets or almost ringlets on relaxed hair? What products, techniques, ect.

thanx guyz

Well..depending on your texture before relaxing..it should be looser curls or waves..so if you got the loose curls..you could just wear it wet and put some gel in it..or you could try a straw set or a wet set..which is just putting lots of curlers (or straws) in your hair with setting lotion and sitting under the dryer...

I am not too sure as I have never done it...but i hope that helps

*shrugs*  Lottabody seems to be the setting lotion i hear about the most..but I don't know if it is moisturizing..some like to mix it with water..or leave in conditioner to combat the dryness it can cause

To achieve the wet ringlet look is difficult on relaxed hair, which is why I'm getting a texturizer.

You can try Proline Perm Repair setting lotion, you don't have to mix it like lottabody and it doesn't leave your hair hard either.  I've used them both and I prefer the perm repair setting lotion personally.

I haven't used this product myself but, on the long haircare forum they say to use John Frieda's Dream Curls or gel. It will enhance your hair's natural curl.

i also used the lotta body on my last at home wash on wednesday of last week. this week on tuesday night i used the kera care setting lotion for my roller set...i must say, it was very different from the lotta body and i didn't have to use the curling irons after.

I USE MIZANI SETTING LOTION, WHICH IS NOT HARD LIKE LOTTABODY AND IS SUPPOSED TO ADD MOISTURE.  I THINK I AM GOING TO TRY PROLINE PERM REPAIR ONE DAY, JUST TO SEE IF IT IS BETTER.
