First I'm posting this so that you don't find yourself where I find myself now. $647.04 POORER, 8weeks of waiting, and a wig that has synthetic hair blended in that won't take color. I ordered a custom unit so that I could get glueless and the silktop. I sent my colors the blending percentage  wanted in the comments, The picture of the hair color and style I wanted. Now I got the box opened it and was stunned when I saw a wiggy  dark wig with white strips for highlights. .... I emailed her my problems  this was her reponse.

The colors on the photo and the actual hair you got are very similar, we never guarantee an exact match. Its impossible, your computer screen and my computer screen and settings are likely to be totally different. You did not send a photo of the base of the hair where you actually see how the highlights are placed, you only sent a photo of the lower part of the hair so seeing the highlights throughout really makes a difference. Also you have to remember that when highlighting a unit while being constructed the hair is installed very uniform. As you can see on the cap, the lighter strands of hair are in sections. Thats just how its done when highlighting during construction. If you wanted a more natural look for highlights you would need to have the hair professionally colored AFTER construction not during.
All silk tops come with two layers of silk, thats just how they are made, they are thicker then all lace units. The density is according to your order, the unit has been inspected and signed off, so there in nothing unusual about the silk cap you received based on what you ordered.
My suggestion is if the top is too wiggy, you can have it thinned out by a professional stylist and for your next custom order, I recommend you go with a lighter density on top. As far as the colors and highlights, we colored the hair a #10 with #613 highlights throughout as requested, not sure why you feel the colors are too dark. The colors match our color swatch perfectly.

So I think okay I take it to a professional colorist....She (The colorist) calls me back and tells that she wants me to know that all f this hair isn't human hair. Do I still want her to color it because the nonhuman hair is not going to liftAngryOuch.....I'm in shock I thought this was a reputable company. I would understand if I mixed the colors up told her the wrong thing or if it was even close to the nice realistic wigs they represent or even close to what I ordered. I hate to bash a company but I don't want anyone else to get duped.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Did you call Annette back and tell her what your stylist said?

I have ordered many, and I do mean MANY wigs from California Lace Wigs and Weaves and I have NEVER had any problems with the quality of the hair. In all my experiences with the many vendors I have tried she is one of the best.

With that being said, I am aware that everyone has a different experience with each vendor and there have been women on here to complain about this company in the past. I would definitely contact her and see what she can workout. Like you said that is a lot of money to not be satisfied with your purchase.

I emailed I have ordered 2 in the past and I had no problems this custom order on the other hand is a whole other story. I haven't ordered for about a year so I'm not sure if they've done something different.

Oh boy!  That's a tight spot to be in.  My advice is to get your wig back asap, before you do ANYTHING to it, to check it out yourself!  Then, I would look at the "synthetic" areas with a magnifyer, and if possible take some pics, comparing the human and synthetic hair, and send them to the company.  Explain that the wig has a high percentage of synthetic hair, and is not what you ordered.
 
As far as the color, ia, the colors will look different to different people, and I suggest ordering a color swatch next time, but that's not here nor there . . .   You can change the color on your own, or have your stylist do it. If the density is an issue, maybe you can then pull out the suspected fake hair, to lessen the density a bit.
 
But I would let them know that this is not what I ordered FIRST before making any changes.  Maybe they can exchange it or maybe you need to file with your credit card.

No I had a problem with them too! I ordered some virgin Indian kinky straight and I asked her repeatedly if the hair could be dyed and she assured me that it could! I got the hair and dyed it a reddish brown color with a box dye and it started to tangle horribly and the color barely took! I never ordered from them again! I refuse she tolde the hair tangling was my fault and I must have dyed the hair wrong and I should have taken it to a professional. But I have been dying my weaves for years and I never had those problems before. I have a feeling that even if I let a professional dye that hair I still would have had those problems! Smh

Get an independent analyses done of the hair...the kind that you can use in court and present that to CLW.  Open a dispute with your bank.  Let CLW and their Vendor deal with the $$$ differences.  Their Vendor is sending them fake hair.  You did not pay upwards of $650 for fake/synthetic hair.  You are for that reason alone entitled to a complete refund no matter what the refund policy is.  You can't sell me a bicycle if I paid you for a car.  All the issues with the color you don't need to worry about anymore at this point. You could have walked into a BSS and gotten a FLW with the exact colors you were requesting for $50-60 bucks. You could have gotten a human/synthy blend in the right color from a CV yourself for less than half that price if that was going to be  the outcome.  Good Luck.
