Y'all didn't know that a Black president means racism is gone and our emotions are misplaced, paranoid and overly sensitive?  Get with it!  Nonwhite owning homes really IS scary!  We could be their neighbors!  Ew!

On a serious note, this freaks me out a bit because hubby and I are trying to purchase a short sale and a preapproved at 3.5%.  That made us very happy but all our friends who bought 2004-2008 lost their homes.  ALL of them.  So it makes me wonder too......too good to be true?  I keep telling myself we have good jobs and will be okay.  We didn't buy then because flip hustle or not we couldn't afford to.

this will be very interesting in DC because now in areas like S.E. near the waterfront and Fredrick Douglas home. its been recognized as historical property, yt folks started buying(the pioneers), little by little they are trickling in the homes are beautiful but...next you will see taxes rise, gutting out homes, short sales, foreclosures.  New reports about don't buy in this neighborhood because it scares off blacks that can afford to buy and yts will move in. see they know how to play the boogie man dont run

We know 5 couples that did and three of them were close friends.  They live in apartments and condos now.  They were like Shocked y'all ain't buying?  We just didn't have it at the time or else we would have been right there with them maybe.
