I can not believe we are nearly at the end of July I can still remember June.
I've been wearing my hair out more and falling back into the basics I discovered originally. I'm detangling with a wide tooth comb the one with evil seam in it - so far so good. Using oil like it's going extinct and keeping it all simple. My hair is thanking me.

I'm determined to get big hair on Holiday!

I am full apl right now, so bsl is possible by the end of the year. Maybe even mbl. When I was relaxed mbl was the easiest milestone. Bsl is definitely the hardest (natural or relaxed). I get my hair straightened in 2 weeks. Come on bsl!!

I'm seeing a bit of growth. Gonna continue co washing every other day and bunning. I used conditioner (Paul Mitchell the detangler), coconut oil & castor oil and whipped it together and it makes it so easy to detangle. I love this combo.

My scalp is sore though and it was red yesterday. I massaged today and it's not as bad. That spot gets sore every so often

I forgot my password BTW this is Journey94

Forgot to add that I'll only be co washing every other day until my classes start then I'll be braiding. I guess I'll just alternate. Braids a month, bunning the next month. As long as my scalp is moist and my ends are tucked away.

I trimmed around 2 inches off my hair. It was inching to Mid back and I cut it. I don't feel too bad about it. I think I will be where I was around Dec. Now my hair is 15 inches and around Bra strap.

I think I'm going to transition. I'm already 10 months post. I don't think I'm going to do the big chop this time around. I think I'm just going to let it grow out. Since my hair is texlaxed it's easy to handle the two textures. I wish I never relaxed. I could be natural mid back length. Oh well.

My hair is is box braids right now. Idk when I'll take them out. The back of my hair reaches my bra strap but the sides and the top have to catch up

I don't think there is much difference though since I last updated with pictures being that I cut off about an inch or so when I trimmed.

Hi guys, I've been away for a while now. Here's my hair length update as of September 6th.
I haven't been staying on any "strict" regimen for my hair, as that's not realistic for me. I have mostly been wearing my straight wigs for style, and I think now I will switch over to twists for the fall. Not sure yet, but I'll update when I can.Smile
I made more progress than I thought I did, for I didn't really think I made much of any.

How's everyone else doing on their journey?
