How is everyone doing on their journeys? I have been lurking in the weaves section because I want to buy some kinky straight extensions . I have been in crochet braids for the past two weeks ( I think). I have another two weeks to go. Not sure what I wanna do with my hair after that.

Oooh are you going to be using them extensions for your next low manipulation style?? I know for me I've been quite lazy with my hair to be honest so not following a fixed regimen as such but my hair is growing well, it's probably due for a trim and I'll post pictures end of June.

I'm sitting here with some myhoneychild honey hair mask sitting in my hair. I'm going to let it sit for like an hr and then I'm going to wash my hair. I figure I would do a pre poo because I want my hair to be really moisturized when I do my braidout. I find that when I do a braidout on really moisturized hair it comes out less frizzy and more defined. I'll leave my hair in braids until Friday. Then wear the braidout for a few days.

I'm sure you are welcome to join @soar....you're practically there!!!! OAN I think I fixed my air dry problem. I googled and found some tips. I kept my hair wrapped in the towel for a whild (so the water wouldn't evaporate so quickly). I used Roux porosity control and then I used the LOC method. It worked out fine.

Ooh girilies loving all your pictures, wish I could do a braidout BronxJazzy , it's super big and fluffy!
This challenge has no linear rules soarlikecruz , thank you for posting your progress lovely you are ALMOST there!
Yes relaxedtresses , roux porosity can definitely aid in helping with dry hair issues it does wonder for mine, glad you solved it!
I did a twist out yesterday and for the first time I had to take my earring out my right ear, hair was getting caught! Feeling happy it's growing annoyed cause I had to take the earring out, I didn't want a split end.

Recently my cousin posted an old and embarassing photo of me. It was pre hair journey, pre weave, pre bhm. I had to be late hs or early college becuase I was wearing my huge glasses (I didn't get contacts til my 2nd year of college). My hair was all down my back! At least bsl...wth. How do I get back there? The only thing I can think of is maybe it was the summer I stayed in cornrows. But there was no moisturising and sealing, etc. Maybe I'm doing too much???
