none of my friends tip as much as i do. they give a few dollars no matter what the price of the bill/service is. it annoys me. then they always want to ask, "how much are you tipping" and add their little dollar to mine. No bish, you take your dollar and put it with your check. my tip is over here.

Before I order I always ask for a separate check, that way I tip for my own food. The amount depends on how much I spent so it can vary.
Is it tacky to ask for a separate check?

I only tip for restaurants, and only if the service is good. I never tip for an eyebrow wax...i dont really see the point tbh.

I used to tip at the hair salon in undergrad. I would just factor it in as a part of the cost of service.

I ask for a separate check. I don't have time to be figuring out who bought what. I just want to pay for my stuff and move on. Plus people be acting like they don't know what they got. Sleepy

I haven't been to a hair salon in my adult life I don't know about tipping for hair.
Is there a percentage standard ?

I do hair on the side now .
I'm destined to be broke I feel so guilty taking people's money even when I do their hair!!
I always give discounts to the young women,

We set a price and after I'm done I always go cheaper.

I HATE when ppl go out and only bring exactly enough for the meal. Tipping is apart of the cost for the meal. You have a bad server understandable other that that leave something. I hate when black ppl don't tip their servers of another race (sometimes I understand why) I get to hear about how cheap black ppl are aaaallll night

I must be one tacky bish, because I seldom tip. I rarely go out to eat, but when I do, I tip according to the service. If the service was sub-par, they get nothing from me
