Oh the water is deep and runs fast.  If it were in the morning or right after work it would have been much different.

It's a state issue.  Tax money goes to everything but schools and infrastructure.  Citizens have to get angry and vote.  There are so many bridges in need.  I drive over that one twice a day.  I'm on-call for the next four days and have to take a 30-minute detour.  The Deception Pass bridge I drive over every weekend and that one is very scary.  It was built in 1935 and is very high.  There's so much water everywhere, you can't avoid the bridges.

Oh hell no.... 1935 and its high like that?? I will be praying for your safe journey bc im sure this bridge will see heavier traffic being used as a detour and its old to boot. They need to get those bridges up to code and safe but ppl need to voice that though. With most people having to cross these bridges daily you would think that the bridges would be one thing they spent money on to ensure the safety of the people.. SMH..

It's the fastest way to get to Whidbey Island where my parents and church are.

It to me an hour and forty minutes to get to work today Angry It's usually a 35-minute commute.  I'm pissed.  They said about 6 months until the freeway bridge is fixed.  Crazy.

I could take an hour detour and then a 45 -minute ferry ride and then a 30 minute drive up the island after.  I guess I won't be seeing my parents for a while.  Cry
