I Know and hope you are right . My concern is due to the very open threat a few weeks ago . I am not as confident in Korea Crazy dictators . They have denied testing for years . Technology had advance to the point nothing can be hidden anymore and it scares the Hell out of me when you are dealing with Pure Evil .

To be perfectly honest, I think North Korea is waiting for a damn good reason to start something with someone before they drop it.  If Japan were to rearm (they already have nuclear weapons in their arsenal--we do know this, right?), that would create the perfect storm for a nuclear war.  I think THAT is one senario they are waiting for.  They would try to start something with the United States for interferring.  They would send a missle to South Korea for siding with Japan or the US.  I'm not trying to downplay the situation, as it is quite serious, but the likelihood that North Korea would try to provoke the US into military action first, out of those three, is not likely at this point.

I don't think they are planning in going to war.... more like protecting themselves.
After all, just look at Iraq. What are the troops still doing there?
N Korea isn't a good country but they don't want to share their goodies, whatever it is, with other countries.

Well, in Japan, some of the political leaders are getting awfully beligerent, lately, and I am getting very worried about it.  For the past 20 years, they have been talking about changing the constitution to allow for a fully operational military.  They have been threatened by almost every other Asian nation not to do that or they would consider it an act of aggression.

I think the best thing to do is just have a coup come in and take over North Korea.  China--their greatest ally-- is distancing itself from them and telling them to stop playing.  Sometimes I wonder if it really is a good thing that Kim Jong Il died.
