I havent either. Never. I think that people are too confrontational here for that to occur. The price is discussed in very clear terms and agreed upon b4 the hair is even touched.

Now that I like

I read it wrong. Yes, people pay half in advance for hair, nails and a lot of other services and pay the balance at the end. Maybe it is regional.

Ive never seen the negotiated price get upped in a salon at the end of the service.

I read the quote wrong. Yes, people require a deposit up front, especially for very log processes like fusion extensions or color + weave services.

What I was saying is that no one has ever in my life upped the price on me halfway through at a salon. The price Ive always paid at the end was the price that I agreed to b4 they touched my head.

this is what I remember. Sounds reasonable. If she blocked off a half or whole day for a service and I don't show up, she has lost that day's pay. I never did that though, but I'm sure stylists have had that happen. Some even traveled to do fusion and customers didn't show up--I heard-- on bhmLOL.
