I don't know if I had such creative lies at 10 years old.
This kid is talented, I'll give him that.

Mom here--NOT AMUSED. I wouldn't think it was clever, funny, or creative that my 10 year old loaded my 18 month old in the car and drove nearly off the road into a snow bank. Then had the audacity to lie to the police to keep from getting in trouble. He'd probably be grounded for years.

However, I have always wondered when kids take cars and drive off, how did they learn to drive? Who taught them?

This was actually my first thought. What if he was desperate enough to be trying to escape something.
