Doesnt matter.
If Kandi owns the rights to the lyrics, licensed them out to Kim for the recording of the song but never got any monetary compensation for it she has a good case depending on what she's suing for.
However, her lawyer is Phaedra and I dont really think anyone on that show, with the exception of Nene, is currently successful in their fields of choice.

No she doesn't. She may have rights but she told Kim (it's on tape) that she would let her have it and not pursue it. Like if a person hit your car and you told them you would take care of the damages, if this person has proof then the judge will hold them to that statement...they consider it like a settlement. Kandi told Kim not to worry about the money, so now she cannot legally demand it back. Any half decent judge will let her know w/ a quickness.

I don't even watch the show any more but I did when Kim sang it and Kandi clearly said years ago that she (kandi) was letting it go...
Can't be that much money involved is it? Anybody got real figures here?

Kim should have paid Kandi years ago. She built an entire brand around a song Kandi wrote for her. Her damn series is named after the song. Just pay Kandi, Kim. I can't stand when people fake befriend someone for a come up and then act dumb after they got what they wanted. I hope Kim's new series flops. I can't stand her.
