Basically many descendents of African slaves in America are related to the genocidal rapists who "fathered" this nation.

Yt ppl and history.  They should just stop.

There is actually a chance there is no slavery involved since Beyonc√© is Creole.  I remember when I read One Drop, I learned how Haitian refugees would marry and have children with French soldiers in Louisiana.  It was actually legal then, but only in Louisiana.  Many of the marriages and baptisms were recorded because it was required by the Catholic church.  They were considered free blacks and a lot of them intermarried within their community.

Either way, I'm sure the "cousins" won't be meeting up anytime soon for a tea party so yeah, whatever.

Creole people came from somewhere before they were Free creole people and a good bet is that they were the children of enslaved African women.   If there were no slaves there would be no creole.  I don't get it.

Yes, many Creole people are descendants of slaves.  Some are products of actual marriages between Haitian immigrants in America and foreign French soldiers that were serving in Louisiana then.  Its actually well documented in Louisiana archives.

How did the Africans get to Haiti before emigrating to the US?

As refugees, what were they escaping?

I would say that Haitians (Africans) didn't get to Haiti on the Love Boat but I suspect this remote possibility that fully African people came to the US and married fully white Europeans won't matter much in the discussion as long as there is a remote possibility that a few creoles are not descended directly from anyone who was enslaved.  I give up.

I'm not making this stuff up.  Free black women from Haiti married French men.  Its not new.  Yes I know Haitians are also descendants of slaves, but they got their independence around 1805 and many of them freely immigrated to the US afterwards.

All I said is that all Creoles are not necessarily descendants of black women in America that were slaves.  That's all, and its true and well documented.  Free black women voluntarily married French Men in Louisiana for years.
