Hair that likes to be artificially dried, than to air dry with the air we breath. I do understand it not fitting with certain styling methods. But hair is hair, broken down its all made of keratin.

I agree!
After I wash my hair and get out the shower, I put in anti frizz serum, a leave-in-conditioner and biosilk. I let it air dry and when I flat iron my hair it takes longer = MORE DAMAGE

For me, to completely blow dry my hair takes maybe 10 minutes. Maybe 15.
But it takes me 20 minutes for me (my mom LOL) to flat iron it!!

Can you all share some of your blow-dry techniques? My hair gets bone dry when I blow-dry - even if I let air dry a little and don't dry to 100%.  My strands feel better when I air dry and have more flexibility.  If I blow dry it takes a few days of product layering for my hair to be soft and bouncy.  I love the way blow outs look.  If you have a great technique, please share!

I section my hair in 5 or 6 sections let it dry about 10 min. I use the comb  attachment.

I'm done in 10 min also.

I prefer the hooded dryer on rollers..then wrapping overnight or for a few hours. You can go over it with a flat iron if you want to wear it bone straight afterwards.

I've dried my hair in a t-shirt.

I've just started doing this and I like it for when I want to wear my hair curly. This works pretty well. I just wash it, conditioner (LEAVE THE CONDISH IN), add gel and grease and then wrap it up in a t-shirt for several hours and it comes out looking good!

But other than that, I blow dry

I leave my conditioner in before I blow dry. I don't wash it out, I want my hair to have a little coating first and have that moisture and all the conditioner soak it as it heats up.

I use a liberal amount of blue magic grease on each section as I blow dry on high heat

I use a blow dryer with a comb attachment. I don't worry about getting it bone straight with the blow dryer, I'm mainly concerned about it drying, I'll straighten it with my flat iron

This works for me too! I can't air dry for nothing.

Blowdrying on low heat was what worked best for me. High heat dries my hair out, and my hair is always so soft and buttery before I air dry.. yes, I put leave-in products in it... Then when I let it sit and air dry my hair gets dry as ever and very brittle. IA with OP.
