gray or grey?

Which do you use? Do you use them interchangeably? Whats the difference?
What other words are like these where both spellings are correct and they reference the same thing?

Blonde describes a woman's hair and Blond describes a man's hair color. Grey/Gray depends what country you're from.

Blonde for the noun (assuming it's a female) and blond for the color. I dunno about grey and gray. I think gray. Things like that make me uncomfortable.
