it is a 1, but when I washed it no dye came off. I went ahead and tried the rite dye remover, but I have killed my wig. The knots did not budge however the hair closest to the knots did lighten up. The hair is falling out allot in the front where I tried t0 bleach the knots. also the lace is orangey even tho I used Red-out. I have to bury this wig soon. I was able to get a few weeks wear out of it. I love dark black hair so my next step is to try and put a "silk top" in the Kinky straight wig i just got.

I love this method! My closures look much better since I started doing this.

You can find the answer within these threads.     Don't buy darker lace, buy light brown or hair that has been colored and if you need to dye the edges brown, then do so.   There are a couple of solutions if you don't like mine.   Check 510Queen's solution within these threads and another one of my homegirls came up with a solution but I don't remember the product. I think she used a clairol hair dye but do not quote me.
