Have you even watched her testimony to claim something like this with this level of certainty??? Really??? Because I watched the entire 5+ hours and she has been consistent in her story throughout the whole ordeal. The things she lied about are so incredibly minor and have been quite convincingly explained. She didn't want to go to the funeral and see her friend's dead body and relive her trauma, so she lied to the mom and told her she had to go to the hospital instead. She said she was a minor because she was afraid of being hounded by the media. How the hell does that make the bulk of her testimony irrelevant??? You saw a 5 minute recap on Fox and you came up with that conclusion??? You don't know what the hell you're talking about. If you haven't seen it, you need to shut the hell up.[/QUOTE
JP, you and Wildfire are wasting keystrokes responding to that one. He refers to us here as mad black people and burnt asses. He has no respect for black people or women. Check the Stacey Dash thread.
She has contradicted her deposition. while it is okay for us, the observers to be sympathetic and understanding she isn't doing much to help the prosecutor. the jurors might even see her as someone that is naive of the justice system but she also puts the defense a lot closer to creating reasonable doubt. The defense gets an advantage because they have direct evidence that she is willing to lie even after being instructed that her deposition will be used in the trial.
I don't watch the news, I am just an impartial observer.
