I also use African Formula black soap the shea butter & aloe vera version and it works great for me. cleared up my acne and the spots. I dont even have to use my precription meds anymore.

I didn't like the smell of the dye that came with dudu-osun I may try the pure stuff mixed with something and see how that works.

Nope. I don't use black soap. I have it still and it was dollar store brand. I found that soap doesn't clear up my skin.

DuDu OSan works well for me with oily skin and spots & my daughter who is acne prone with spots! It is working to lighten and I appreciate that my skin is not oily, shining or extremely dry.

You may want to try the nasaabb one though or the Nubian Heritage one!

i tried the one from nasabb, it cleaned my skin but after a week it started to irratate my skin, like make it burn.  I didn't break out more but it made places like my shoulder/face burn.  I would recommend it to someone who has thick skin ( literally) because it is a very strong soap.

true black soap is not black it all..visit nasabb for pics of the  the real version. Its all over the place in ATL and surrounding areas..be careful with it cuz it made me burn too. I ordered my first block of it from this girl online, but during my first weeks of using it, it would burn on my back, shoulders, and under my breast. As a matter of fact I still have a big burn mark under one of my breast from the soap burning..at the time, i thought it would just go away once i got out of the tub, but it didnt and it stung. That happened last summer, and im still trying to get rid of that mark. now some ppl swear by black soap, but if u have sensitive skin, be careful
