My dad did time, I won't say how many years cuz BHM ain't sh!t.

But anyway when he came out, he became a drug/substance abuse counselor and also facilitated anger management workshops for at risk adults. He did that for about 6 years.

I think now he does something along the lines of finding jobs and apartments for at risk, low income folks. We ain't the best of friends, but I do appreciate his commitment to reaching out to the people in our communities to stop them from doing nicca sh!t.

How do you know if someone loves you? Not by what they say, but by their actions.
This is the same. If this group wants to improve the community, it's not going to happen just by spouting historical facts and theory.

Leading by being a good example is one of the hardest challenges to take on but I'd love to see them doing that.

The Tea Party is built on stupidity and lies but is getting sh*t (stupid sh*t) done.

People with legit goals can't even get other people to back them because folks would rather criticize than appreciate the effort.

The only way a black person can gain a following is if they do it the "right" (read as: white) way. Then black folks with come around. <<<<then when they do come around they will critisize them for not being black enough and not fighting for black issues (word to Obama)
