I really hope this spreads like wild fire across Black social media
Kinda (but not really) baffling how blatant racism is becoming again

On their website, they have two black dolls with the same name: the one in the video indeed has nothing, but the other does come with some accessories, including four books, but there are no pictures of those, meanwhile, the white dolls have a book about themselves and the pictures of the accessories is showing.
I feel that the black dolls were created on the last minute, to show that the company is not discriminating racially, but the black doll looks exactly like the white ones, except for the color and curly hair.

I came to say this. That specific Target needs to stock up on the black one that does come with books.

Yup. Supply and demand. Companies only care about $$. If the black dolls aren't selling, then they won't stock as many.

well i am happy someone is pointing out the subliminal message that is being sent to our children with this doll and as a result there may be another out there with books...our job is to stop that stereotyping by teaching children that education is the key to success not just being beautiful and stylish is going to cut it for black women but smart and curent mentally as well..porchia stewart on the rhoa thought that the underground railroad was an actual railroad but i dont blame her as her family has a legacy of being in dr kings inner circle..her mom failed her..things to think about
