i hear good results, but my question is: what's the diff between getting this and just flat ironing your hair?
 
i just don't think it's worth the health risks (high amounts of formaldehyde)....

Me no likey. Breaky the hair. 450 degree too much for my fine strands. Plus formaldehyde is for the dead folk.

No no, and the corporations selling this stuff no that percentage is incorrect when they quote it. It's actually .2%. That decimal point makes a huge difference.

My hair was 3B with volume and small ringlets.
The first keratin treatment helped my hair with volume and the ringles became looser.
After 4 months of swimming at the salty beach, I did another bkt (I had a voucher: 2 for $136).
The second time I didn't see much difference though. The volume was somewhat back but my curls remained the way they were. No small ringlets.

I think if I did another 2 or 3 more bkt it would erase the volume from my hair but I would need to hunt for deals for bkt is pricey here in LA.

So for the girls with kinky hair, maybe after 2-4 treatments you'll get to 3B hair texture.
