Maybe I should have said what did/didn't work for me because these are just my experiences with them. If they worked for other people, congratulations (no sarcasm).
I used maca root for a few months (approx 4 and a half) and I wasn't impressed enough to continue buying (neither the geletanised or powder - I used both). I didn't stop just because my measurements were the same, it also had no effect on me at all. The other effects it says it claims to have on the bottle eg increased energy, reduced stress etc, i didn't feel.
So to be honest even if I wasn't looking for a gain in measurements, maca didn't deliver it's basic promises anyway and if it takes more than 4 months to take any effect then hey *shrug* the choice is yours... the exercise took less than a month. It's only fair to give my personal experiences but each to their own

1. Have you just tried exercise by itself prior to trying these supplements and whatnot? I don't know everyone's story but I have gotten AMAZING results with diet and exercise alone. I didn't even hear about any this stuff (like fish oil to make the booty big) until I came here like 4 or so months ago. 2. Have you tried raw maca, like organic and in a powder? Since maca is a
superfood, you can add it to other foods. You may want to add it to a
fruit smoothie or protein shake. 3. Were you exercising when you did these methods and what were you eating?
I agree with Babygurl. You got to be patient with this stuff. As your body changes, you react to things differently. So something that worked fast at first may take a little while the next round because your body is/has adapted.
I also agree with you. Exercise and a good protein/good fats/good carbs diet will do the trick every time. If you want to build your booty up, make sure you are feeding it properly and you are eating enough.
Happy Booty Building!

1. yeah, I did most of these alone so I could see their honest results. The maca and fish oil had a brief overlap but they were all pretty much given their own time to shine. I did the exercise after I had gotten rid of the other methods
2. I haven't tried it raw (if you mean not in a capsule) but the taste of the pill alone upset me (lol) so i'm not sure if i'll venture into that realm
3. The only exercise (before I put together my routine) I really did was dancing, plus I heard they should work without. I did the occasional treadmil run probably once a week and crunches etc
Also I was trying to gain weight throughout so I was eating everything pretty much but I havent changed weight at all in about 3 years, it's strange (which is why I wanted maca roots help to put it on). But after gaining muscle as opposed to fat in my glutes from exercise, I decided to stick with the more natural, healthier, reliable option.

HELLO! Everyone, I am new but I have been reading BHM for years! but never joined, wasnt a big typer than. Anywho...Miss A, I wanted to say I definitely agree with the toning down the exercise and trying more natural ways of gaining more fat as lil lisa said thats easier to keep but I do believe in still trying to tone up with weights to keep it firm. As for me I hate the stinky fish oil but I think I got a way to get the smell out the way and wear it all day without even noticing it lol. I try most days to add a second application. But I just got back on so I am still at a 39' inches so hopefully fish oil will work for me this time. Also Ladies I wanted to mention ZHI MU! If nothing is working at it.... it sure is filling in the dents, I tell you girl let that zhi mu soak in as long as possible, I have noticed the results and I still have yet to get my hands on emu oil. There are some decent sales going on now ladies... check all the sites ladies. Hope I aint come on too strong for the first time! lol

Hey missanna, sorry if it seemed like i was defending maca or trying to be all biased!!!! I tend to just list that stuff in threads like this b/c i know it will get a lot of views based on the title, and they're just common methods. Im really glad you found what works for you, it takes a lot of determination. And just in my experience i took powdered maca (like 10g+ a day) for a couple months at a time and both times had great results. IMO the trick is to stick with the powdered stuff in high cal shakes right before bed so your body digests and utilizes the herbs! but its just speculation.

Yep you could def see a difference, not just on the measuring tape. Maca helps digestion so once you get over the bloated phase in the beginning (probably our bodies just adjusting to it) the difference is even more striking b/c your waist stays tiny. Im going to be ordered a couple lbs soon i will for sure take before and after pics to prove it love this stuff!

So when people say they gained in the stomach with maca is that the bloating phase you're referring too? I'm thinking about trying maca after I have my baby and begin working on my body.

^ i believe so, but it all really comes down to that persons body type and where you gain fat first, someone whos an apple shape may see more breast growth than hip/ booty gains
