i'm in the beginning stages of my side hustle.  So I really can't offer any serious advice.  My beginning motivation was a combination of things. 1. i've always felt that corporate wasn't quite for me.  2. watching folks lose their jobs and have to take bullsh*t packages.
The idea of my side hustle had been in the back of my mind for years but I never acted on it.  But ...watching what was going on...I made a decision and started the process within days.  I mean...it came to me that I always say life is too short to stay stuck in something I don't want and I am currently in the position to at least start a lil something.  My mother is also my motivation.  Some of y'all know her story.  With what she's done...I have no excuses.

Thumbs Up Good Luck girl. I started my side thing years ago with the motivation from my family. It took time and research but all the hard work paid off.

As in a stable paycheck, not having to do all of the leg work, etc.

Mom was an addict for most of my life.  She got sober about 6 or 7 years ago.  Since then she has cleaned up her rap sheet, got her Associates and is now working her BA, has gotten her credit to A+ which in turn has helped her get her house which she bought last Sept and her new truck (with no money down) which she bought a few months ago.    What she's accomplished from where she started....i'm still amazed and a bit intimidated when I think about it.

Depending on your industry. If you're in anything tech...there are lots of options. Other industries are much more difficult.
