I don't see why people have to get nasty when they never intended to answer the question in the first place. If a question is annoying or someone thinks it's "dumb" and they've seen it over and over, then just ignore it. I agree people can be nasty for no reason or have a gang mentality once some of the older members speak, but just let it roll off your back. You can always find someone willing to help.
