IMO it doesn't really matter. It was clearly Bey's voice and she was
clearly singing on top of herself - hence taking out the earpiece as it
was messing her up.
As several have already stated, singing out
live in the freezing cold isn't likely to give you your best
performance. And on CNN the army band that backed her admitted that all
artists who sing the national anthem with them are required to record a
back up version in the event that things don't go as planned.
IMO,
the fact that this is causing a stir is ignorant - especially when it's
established news outlets like CNN acting like they're now the TMZ of
the legitimate news segment. Um our economy is still effed, we still
have a partisan political climate, how is Bey & her singing or not
singing the anthem live going to change that?

okay...lmao now that i actually listened to beyonce sing it...that mess was dry... i dont care if whitney did pre record it had some umph to it..and beyonce cant touch it.
