I use supertape
There are the best IMO
This is also what i use from Hairdirect.
You have to try and see what works for you because I can wet down my hair every morning and apply my curly hair leave conditioner and the blow dryer keeps everything in tact .. but if your nody chemestry is different .. it might lift for you.
It's trial and error.
this is so true.. super tape was not so Super on my skin ..
To pick up on this further .. SuperTape is SUPER. It will stick.
The problem is there is a trade off between the strength of the tape and the sensitivity it causes on your skin BECAUSE it is so strong.
For me: (again, everyone is different) I can use Supertape all winter long .. though I sometimes switch out to Walkers tape but in the summer I have to use the Proflex or Satin lace tape on my right side only. For some reason the stronger tapes causes an allergic reaction in the form of little bumps .. but JUST about 3 inches on my right side
. I have been in these units for almost 6 years but it took me a while to figure out why I kept getting breakouts there now and then.
So you might start with tapes that are not very strong to begin with and then go to stronger tapes later. Play with it and see what works. Also make sure you use 2 thin coats of skin protector on your skin before you apply tape (or glue) to also help avoid a reaction.
Also in the summer I reapply my unit quite often because THE HEAT does me in after a day out in the streets and whatnot.
