Okay so I've figured out that I've got a mixture of mostly 3c and 4a type hair. When my hair is wet it has natural curls, I can put some shea butter and the curls pop, it is more 3c then. When it's blown dry straight it's just thick and unmanageable to me, I can curl it with an iron...but it's way too much work. It grows fairly quickly. I'm all natural and intending to stay that way.

Any suggestions? TIA

I don't know how often you put heat on your hair but I would suggest not doing it often.
Warm weather is coming up I suggest that you keep it moisturized, try the baggy method. HTH

Thanks ladies, I forgot to add that I don't put any heat on my hair.
I'm currently wearing a weave as a protective style and the only time
I apply heat is after I take out an install to check the length and my
ends. Within 24 to 48 hours my hair is back up in another weave.

I love the Mane n' Tail Hair products and pantene pro-v....

Hmmm....baggying with a weave....Immma thinking it will be a whole
head baggy....overnite and then wash it out....more like DCondish

Stuff that I am liking right now: Blended Beauty styling products (wasn't crazy about the shampoo/conditioner- I think my hair was too dirty when I tried it...), CURLS (love the whole line), Oyin Handmade (loooove everything I have).  Drugstore stuff that I like:  Suave Humectant (I add a big ole' dollop of glycerine to my shampoo and conditioner bottles), Creme of Nature shampoo, and Cantu Shea Butter Leave in condish.  Hope this helps!Star

I am co-signing with that. I think this is a good 3c/4a product. I've seen alot of 3c/4a fotki's with this product as a staple.

When ppl mention glycerin, are they talking about glycerine oil or something else? I was sooo excited to find some glycerine oil at Whole Foods this weekend but was told that there are different types. So I wanted to make sure that I picked up the right type. TIA :)

TruAxiom - It's glycerin the one that is used as a humectant...believe it or not I found mine at Rite Aid or was it CVS....well, it wasn't expensive, it was about $2.49 for a little bottle .... but a little goes a long way.

OOOH yeah CANTU is the bizness......I love it....
