After the hair is dry from washing and conditioning it, what are some of the best products you apply right before you press your hair to give it a silky straight look?  Serums? Sprays?

I use nothing. Truthfully your hair doesn't need a lot of products if you want silky looking hair afterwards. I learned this the hard way. Now all I do is use a combo of hot oils/conditioner as a deep treatment. After I rinse this out my hair is easier to detangle, I then proceed to blow-dry and flat-iron. The hair does not turn out looking or feeling heavy or weighed down. I've been using this technique on my daughter's hair and it always turns out looking beautiful. I despise greasy-looking flat-ironed hair.

I am new to the straightening, but my stylist blew mine out with shea butter. Then flat ironed it with nothing. It is silky and flowing. I am using shea butter (pure) on the ends in the back to keep them done, but no other products, but maybe a little oil sheen or glosser if it looks dull, but so far no real need for it.

I use phtyodefrissant and a heat protectant along with either my maxiglide or sedu. I get great results but  my results only last for  about four days if I am exercising.  I tend to only do this in the winter or on a special event in the summer because I live in very humid weather. But is it nice to get that flowing look.Approve

I also use shea butter for my hair when flatironing. It protects my hair well from the heat and I've noticed my hair is also straighter when I use it. Shinier also.
