I used to lurk back here years and years ago, and I've been wearing lace/weaves etc for about 10 years and I can tell you that Indian hair is just like any other nationality in terms of tangling. If the hair has been properly handled, doesn't have animal hair or synthetic hair as a filler, is cuticle correct and hasn't been processed to all get out you won't get tangling. Indian hair is usually collected in temples, because part of their religion is to cut their hair at certain times in their lives. Because it's braided and then cut, it usually is cuticle correct. The thing though, is that when you buy from a CV they a lot of times will tell you that you're getting remy or virgin Indian, but what you're really getting is some blend of Chinese, animal hair/synthetic and all the hairs are going different directions. It can be really hard to find a good vendor.
I used to order from Rex, his stuff was good then one day I ordered a wig and when I ran a straightener through it - some of the hairs melted on my iron!
