Topic: Best Laptops Posted: Nov 16 2009 at 9:00pm |
I'm currently looking for a new laptop since my IBM Thinkpad is falling apart. And I'm going to be real, I don't know much about computers, the technical stuff that is. Still gotta do my research, but I do know that I'm looking for quality, decent memory/space...and that other good stuff which I have to figure out still Any recommendations? I kinda have my eye on the MacBook, but dunno. All input is appreciated

Dells are good memory/space isn't that important because you can add memory yourself really easily look for the features you want like blu-ray drives, wi-fi, battery life, etc.

IBM/Lenovo computers are very sturdy. They have some decent mini laptops too

What you want is... 2-4 GB's of RAM 160+ Gigs of HD
and this isn't REALLY important...but I wouldn't get anything less than a Intel Core 2 Duo processors....but that's just me.
And if battery life is important to you...you may just want to find the laptop you want, and invest in the extended battery life battery.

I love my HP touchsmart. So much better than my gateway regular laptop, gateway tablet, and my giant dell m6400

This hard to say because each brand and model has their pluses and minuses. My personal picks are HPs and Toshiba Satellites.

Toshiba gets my vote, especially the Satellite series.
