I just purchased a blow dryer today, and I'm basically looking for justification for my splurge!

I bought the Conair Infiniti 1875 Tourmaline Ionic Styler (sounds cool huh?)

The website describes it as:

Bed Bath & Beyond wrote:
Conair® 1875 Watt Infiniti Ionic Hair Dryer

Now your hair dryer can leave your hair looking healthy and shiny. Ionic dryer with 1875 watts of power has a tourmaline ceramic coated grill to prevent heat damage to your hair. Dryer has 9-foot round professional power cord. Features two speeds, three heat selections, Ions on/off switch and cold shot. Dryer includes concentrator, diffuser and travel pouch. Limited five-year warranty. UL listed. Model # 213.

I plan on using this at most, once a month for my at home blowouts.  I got it for 20% off of $39.99 so what they hey!  Sally's BSS was wanting no less than $55 for a good tourmaline dryer.

What are some of the hair dryers you are using?  If you have better suggestions, let me know, a sistah is good about keeping receipts!

Currently I have the ION Ionic blow dryer.  It is okay but it doesn't have any force. But that is okay since I rarely blow out my hair.

I've heard good things about the Chi flat iron, but never about their blow dryers?  How much are they usually?

I have a Babyliss Pro one, it's 2000w and some other features, it's not ionic but it's really good and I love it!

It was £20 in the sale I think, I'll try and find a link.

This is a UK retailer but it's so you can get an idea of what it looks like...

the chi blow dryer is $150, what i want is the rocket it is $200. but that is my money maker so it was more of an investment. babybliss is good too.  if i was on a budget i would get that. wigo dryers suck, so don't get that. i think babybliss even has a ceramic dryer in pink. it is soooo cute.

I use the Conair Pro Silverbird Ac Turbo Dryer (1900 Watts)
This is one of the best dryers I've used. It has so much power and has 8 heat settings.
