I am tired of listening to people say that grease isn't good for black women scalp and hair. I grew up on hair grease. My mother used to use dixie peach on my hair and when dax came out she used that also. She used to hot comb my hair with blue bergamont. I always had hair then. Ever since I started believing this thing about us not using grease on our hair, I stopped and my scalp became so dry and my hair started becoming brittle and breaking like crazy especially when my hair is natural.
I am going to keep it real by saying that my scalp is not oily like some people and my hair is not naturally straight so I need some grease to keep my hair soft and to keep my scalp from itching like crazy.
When my hair came out really bad one time I started using BB Super Grow. My hair grew like crazy. Then I listened to people telling me about how bad grease is for the hair. I wasted so much money on hair products. Only people that benefited was the companies that made money off me.
Anyway, I just started back using BB Super Grow today because this grease is the best I've ever used even when I had a perm and my hair grew like crazy. I used it on my scalp also. Sometimes I just use coconut oil in my scalp.
Can't listen to what everyone is saying. You have to use what works for you.
Some people think I'm crazy for using grease but I could care less because at least I had a nice head of hair when I was using it.
