I'd hate to instill such a strong sense of false hope in parents by publishing this..... I hope it does work but I would need more background to invest into it. I'm glad the child is HIV negative nonetheless.

i missed that one part about not confirming the baby's infection...i would assume that they put the baby on it due to the mother not having any prenatal care during most of her pregnancy. i also wonder why the mother stopped giving the child medicine...
i hope that this wasn't a fluke and they can replicate this again...that would be amazing.
