you wouldn't know that. Also, we really don't know the HIV status of the wife or whether she even bothers to get tested, and how often. we only know what status they claim. But like Keeping said, it is still possible for her to be immune. Would this story make you trust having unprotected sex with a known HIV positive person?

When an HIV person's HIV viral load is really low, it is difficult to infect a person, but they still have it. And that is why MJ regretted going on TV talking about his viral low being so low and not emphasizing that he still has HIV. MJ's wife doesn't have HIV either. When your viral load is high then it relatively easy to infect someone. But what type of cancer did he have because HIV infected people can get rare cancers and that could have possibly been prevented if he took the drugs. HIV causes AIDS which pretty much eradicates that person's immune system. And him saying he never took medication isn't impressive. That is part of the reason why HIV is dangerous because you have no clue you have it, which is why they recommend people get tested on a regular basis if they are in a relationship. All I have to say is use condoms!

Very true, people taking the new drugs will have a viral load so low that they will pass a HIV test. BUT THEY WILL STILL HAVE IT. Sadly, I can see people misleading others by having them believe they're negative when they aren't. Couple gets tested together and both test negative. If you saw ur bf's negative reselults and he didn't say anything, wouldn't u believe he was negative?

hell naw! i dont do unprotected period. but his other health issue is diabetes so i doubt that that is hiv related I know that there are special cases and this story isnt a model or an excuse to have unprotected sex. That would be stupid. Im just giving an example as to why i agree with Dictionary's post on pg 1. Relax people, i'm not telling ppl to go raw  USE CONDOMS EVERY TIME.
