Hey Everyone,
I have a twin sister who is about to go to college as well (we're going to different ones) and she is actually going to the college on an athletic scholarship and she also wants to wear lace wigs. What advice could you guys possibly give about athletes who wear lace wigs? (This sport is track by the way and she runs).

Thanks in Advance ^_^

She should definitely look into sewing wig clips into the lace. I'd be concerned with the sweat affecting the glue adhesion.

I ran track and I would have to say, BE VERY CAREFUL, b/c it can get real hot and sweaty at a meet and the last thing you want is it to come off. I would suggest sewing-it down. You can be at a meet for 10-12 hours in heat, I really wouldn't temp it w/o clips and a headband. She would also have to use a hard bond adhesive like endurabond if she want to use glue. But I would go w/ the clips and sewing it down. I just remember how hot some meets where and I know my lace wigs wouldn't have stayed down w/ only glue.

I use to play basketball. So not only did I have to worry about sweat but people hitting me upside my head, LOL.

I always made sure my app was tight, always use glue and some tape to be secure and I reapplied once a week.

I also wore a headband when I played. You know the ones that look that big rubber bands. They are perfect because, unlike the old school handbands, they don't allow the glue to stick to it. They have cute colors too. I would wear two of them and be good to go.

Actually still wear them now when I workout.
