I have a 12 year old boy and a 8 year old boy. Is this too early to have the sex talk? Of course I would do it seperatly. Males please advise too.

never too early, imo. Just keep it age appropriate. At 8, my niece will know a lot, but I doubt I will talk about masturbation....the 12 year old, probably. She'd know about condoms, sex, orgasms, std's, childbirth, etc.

I would have the sex talk as soon as possible. I never had the sex talk with my parents but I knew about it when I was in kindergarten.

The 12 year old probably already knows all about it...especially if he has his own tv, smartphone, or computer and/or spends time with his friends without adult supervision.
Anyway, 8 isn't too early. He mightve already started having nocturnal emissions considering how early kids go through puberty nowadays.
