HUGS and PRAYERS TO YOU!!! I had my 7 yrs.old at 26 weeks, at home in the toliet(first child and had no idea I was in labor. Hubby did all the work before the EMT's arrived). He weighed 2pds. 2 oz and stayed in the NICU for 3 months. He's healthy for the most part. He has asthma. But, no more for us. I was a preemie too and low birth weight babies run in my family.

Thank you for your well wishes! Girl, I thought I had to poop! I had called my doc and the nurses told me that I could take Gas-X, so I sent the Hubby out to get some. Unbeknowst to me, I was in labor and felt the need to push. So, I crawled to the bathroom and just did that. I pushed twice and out he came in the toliet!

40wks&3days. I didnt even know I was in labor. I had back pain my last trimester due to my weight gain . I was in the shower and when I stepped out my water broke .. 15 mins later I had the urge to push. got to the hospital at 8am dealt with the ignorant Admittance Clerk for abt 20 mins. FINALLY got in the delivery room only to be told not to push becus their werent any L&D doctors there yet . L&D dr finally came at abt 8:45am and my son was here at 9:02am

April 5th, 2009, 40 weeks, right on my due date
BUT I cheated a littlebit , I was induced the day before because of some worries with my son's heartbeat when I had contractions, had a caesarean at the end after 22 hours of not progressing enough work. Everything turned out fine, he is an healthy, full of life toddler of 3 years old now
For that baby, since I had a caesarean for my son the doctor asked me if I want another one (still in reflexion), she said that if I decide that I'll do one, they'll schedule me for one week before at 39 weeks. I asked her if it would be ok for the baby and she told me that at 38 weeks and more the baby is fully mature.
