Hmmmmm....I don't always consult hubby before planning something that just involves me. If i know we aren't doing anything, I will let him know soon after I make the decision. Like my girlfriend wants me to meet her newest boyfriend tomorrow morning at breakfast. I told her sure!. Then I called him and let him know. meh... |
you've made my point for me. You may have made the plan but you damn sure weren't gonna go without letting him know. And you wanna know why? Because you understand that that is what should be done to maintain an harmonious relationship. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Sometimes i ask, sometimes i tell. even little simple thing slike if i decide to go to the mall after work i sent him a quick text. he may say you dont need anything and then i think about it and bring my ass home.

I think what is confusing me is the OP was invited to something that didn't SEEM to involve her SO. If it doesn't involve hubby, I doubt seriously I would call him beforehand to see what he thought about me attending. But yeah...right after I will let him know.
