i think its just respectful

your s.o is somewhat responsible for you to a degree

but in most situations i dont think the intent is to ask per se but more so to inform i think

just common courtesy

but its a fine line

Child please...all those women looking at you crazy either don't have a man or their men are so hen pecked they wouldn't care what their women did...

I look at realtionships like this...you and your man's opinion are all that matters. Who cares what others think if you both are happy.

Hmmmmm....I don't always consult hubby before planning something that just involves me. If i know we aren't doing anything, I will let him know soon after I make the decision. Like my girlfriend wants me to meet her newest boyfriend tomorrow morning at breakfast. I told her sure!. Then I called him and let him know. meh...
