i've been cooking since i was like 8
in my family women stayed in the kitchen and thats where i was learning how to 'throw down' my mother and both grandmothers are excellent cooks

i don't really consider where i live/am from the 'south' although people further up north do and TECHNICALLY (mason-dixon line) it may be 'the south'
although i luuuuuuuuuuuuubs the south
its where mah maternal peoples are from...South Carolina to be exact
