Like I said, it's all about financial liability and stigma. Not really about sexual responsibility and health.

Man, I have a sterilization list, I don't think BHM would agree either. But some people really should be sterilized. Seriously.

I think for teens who do become pregnant they need to find a balance between learning how to take care of their child and focusing on school rather than expecting someone to baby them or pity them because they had a child especially if an adult can manage caring for a child and working.
Some teens don't realize that they can't do some of the things they want to anymore or atleast not as much as they once used to. Either that or they expect their parent to take care of the child while they continue to live life the way they did before having kids. Then again there are adults who think that way as well after having kids.

This is my point. Teen parenting numbers are going down. I am seeing a trend in adults having kids and being terrible parents that don't know what to do. They are worse than the teen parents who are given classes and have adults living with them to teach. They wear the fact they "waited" as a badge of honor, but they don't know anything and their infants are in harms way because of it.

But to me, it's an american/1st word thing, because in other cultures that I witness, parenting is taught at a young age.

That's what I am thinking. It's all financial/stigma. She said she doesn't want to take care of any kids. lol. & that is pretty much what it boils down to...not wanting the financial liability.

She seems to really love her daughters and all but I don't think she wants to raise another child.

I'm extremely biased in this area because of my job. Birth control for everyone. Always. The fact that almost half of pregnancies are unintended scares the hell out of me. Future little Jas will know the deal. I can't tell you what I'll do when it comes to birth control, but she'll be tired of hearing about it. So will any male children. I joke about handing out condoms at parties. I'm friends with someone how actually did this in college. She'd hand them a condom and say "don't forget to pinch the tip." Teen pregnancy is no joke. It almost always makes things MUCH harder and a lot of kids just can't keep up with the demands. Just like adults, but adults often have more resources at their disposal: cognitive, emotional, and financial.
