i agree 150% about the IUD for teen moms.

my family would be 5x larger and 10x more ratchet if some of my cousins didnt get the IUD and they are grown.

This is crazy. She ain't got no faith in her kids. I'd feel like my mom was calling me a hoe. You're saying not only you think they are having sex but they don't even bother to use condoms. That's crazy. If they said they don't want/need it that should tell you something.

I mean I would just open up to the daughters and say if you are doing anything please tell me so we can get yall on bc because the last thing yall want is to be pregnant....which is what my mom did with me when i told her I lost mine. Her exact words were when i lost my vcard was "do not get pregnant."

I had a friend whose dad made her take a pregnancy test when she started period and it was irregular. SO some parents go way overboard with it. Paranoia makes u do some crazy things. That same dad gave me a lecture and told me not to chase after boys because they are evil and that that they will come after I establish a career and how all the bad ones will come before I establish a career lol. He was a good dad though, just overprotective. His daugther was wild as all hell when she started college though......

When I was in high school there was this girl who everyone said was a freak but that she hid it because her mama didn't play that. I was like what do you mean her mama don't play that? They said she was really strict. But at the same time her daughter was wildin out. It doesn't matter how strict parents think they are. Teens make their own decisions.

I don't t know...most of the teens I talk to get around to telling their parents at around 16-20 weeks. Pinch  I can understand the paranoia, but I will try desperately not to be that way. LOL
