Wouldn't this be on the news or something. Even though I have problems beliving anything the media says, that's not clearly ovious. Are your nails living to.

I was going to post something about nails but then I decide against it. Don't want to bore people with my thoughts all the time.

I think nails are on the same level as hair.

I think nails contain a bit of moisture. When they dry too much they become brittle and may break. (kinda like hair, huh) Some people have to put oils on their nails to keep them from breaking.

Oh my, there must have been a planetary alignment or something. Did you actually agree with me, Ariel?

I'm just teasing you, ok. Please don't get upset.

If that is true, then hair contains more moisture than nails because it is more flexible.  I know when I soak my hands in water for a while, I can bend my nails all kinds of ways. People with stiff hair must obviously have drier hair. If they added lots of moisture then it would be more flexible. (When they wash it, I wonder if it becomes more flexible. It should if our theory if correct)

That makes sense to me.

True. If it was hydrated would it be as coarse though? I've never handled that type of hair wet before so I'm just wondering.

Hmmm. I thought it had already been proven that when hair is wet, it expands and becomes weaker.

Gotta go to my Reading Council meeting.

yeah i agree.

But after washing dishes when my nails are soaking  they bend, yes. Water helps nails grow but at same time they are at their weakest when wet just like hair.
