I am not sure if I'm included in that assuption but I am not "concerned" about giving off ANY vibe. Usually my opinion on these type of threads is in the minority. I believe/feel what I believe/feel because of the way I was raised. We were taught not to commit crimes and IF you did, don't come home crying about the end result . Grew up poor and my parents still instilled us to not take shyt that wasn't ours. I have struggled financially at times in my life and STILL have struggles. And I do some dumb shyt, the end result could very well be extreme. This young lady hopefully learned a lesson. If not, she could start stealing bigger items and put herself in a more dangerous situation that could have her dead instead of bruised and battered. We downplay so much ish and get mad when other races say we encourage failure in the Black community. Then, in the same breath ask "what is the world coming to?our youth are so lost!" go figure. |
I suppose you were included in that assumption but it's more of a general statement on bhm's stance on this issue, I guess. I wasn't trying to offend. But I'm still reeling from that thread where just about everyone but a few posters were in agreemement over that woman getting her head blown off with kids in the car because she stole a few items from Walmart. You wouldn't see no white suburban female shoplifter being treated like she committed the heist of the century. The punishment should fit the crime, imo. Black robes, white justice...

They don't look like security guards. Where I work, it's illegal to restrain someone and keep them from leaving unless you are a cop or a security guard(depends). For starters, to restrain someone, you have to be trained and it's clear that neither of them were. I really don't get people that go above and beyond unless it's a mom and pop store. I couldn't care less when people steal from my store, we don't even pursue them. The most we will do is call the cops that patrol the mall or mall security and give them the description.
