Hell, they need to be free right 'long with BC. I'm cheap anyway so I buy the big ol' equate brand pads that come with like 50 pads for $4 and some change. Lasts a while.

I don't condone her stealing, but I could never go so hard over some company's belongings.

They took it too far once she said she couldn't breathe. I'm not saying let her get up and walk away, but at least stop putting all of your weight on that girl's body on concrete.

yep. i use equate for some things too. come March i am buying the walgreens brand plastic applicator tampons.
lol @ shady..it was a big box of the tampax pearl variety: light, reg, super

She looks able bodied. Wonders if she has ever considered working instead of stealing? Might be a wee bit safer. I've personally never been tackled and restrained by taking my azz to work.

Sometimes folks are so concerned about giving off that upwardly mobile, educated, beautiful BAP vibe that you're missing the point... That was kind of overkill for shoplifting, unless she made of with diamonds

I am not sure if I'm included in that assuption but I am not "concerned" about giving off ANY vibe. Usually my opinion on these type of threads is in the minority. I believe/feel what I believe/feel because of the way I was raised. We were taught not to commit crimes and IF you did, don't come home crying about the end result . Grew up poor and my parents still instilled us to not take shyt that wasn't ours. I have struggled financially at times in my life and STILL have struggles. And I do some dumb shyt, the end result could very well be extreme. This young lady hopefully learned a lesson. If not, she could start stealing bigger items and put herself in a more dangerous situation that could have her dead instead of bruised and battered. We downplay so much ish and get mad when other races say we encourage failure in the Black community. Then, in the same breath ask "what is the world coming to?our youth are so lost!" go figure.
