I know everyone isn't a weave guru but I think it's obvious that if your Brazilian hair is coming from China, it's safe to say its not Brazilian. I also think hair stylists who specialize in weaves should know general weave knowledge.

Another thing is people thinking Virgin hair is a new thing and try to school me once they get hair from me. I immediately stop listening to you when you tell me your Brazilian hair is virgin.

What do you ladies think??

Agreed.... on a daily basis I get somebody bragging to me that they about to go get that new "virgin Indian" they got at the bss ..... and got the nerve to be boasting about how much of they money they about to waste!! I am an avid weave wearer so of course they then turn to me and say somethin to the effect of " girl I ain't seen this hair yet which store you get this from" Goodness I be ready to cuss somebody out and let them know you dag on straight you ain't seen this cuz I dang sure didn't get it from no bss or pay over 100 dollars to throw it away in 3 wks. Crazies but hey I can't educate everybody. Most of the time I don't pay them no mind I just giggle a little and say wwhhatt... girl for real!

Yes!! It's that bragging that gets me! Girl sit down! You're new to this weave game.  I BEEN ON!!  Last month someone tried to "school" me on A-r-j-u-n-i....I was like...umm yeah. I was a beta tester for them. What else you got?

"You heard of Wegman's (yes they said Wegman's like the store) hair??"

Yes, I have hair from them in my stash from 2006.  NEXT!

Half of these girls wouldn't pay for Virgin hair at true Virgin hair prices. They just wanna say their hair is from "somewhere."  Honestly, if it doesn't shed/tangle/act crazy, then its all right with me.  Just don't try and teach me things when you just started wearing Brazilian hair two weeks ago.

More surprising is when a vendor lacks knowledge ..
I walked into a new vendor's storefront in Atlanta
and proceeded to casually test their knowledge, and
I swear the woman was making 'ish up ... LOL

And her "processed" cough virgin hair started
at $150 for a 10" bundle !

Yes!! That's another thing! When a vendor says everything is Virgin *insert ethnicity here*

And then they proceed to tell you lies from the sky.  And 150 for 10inch?? Hell no!

Especially here in Atlanta. I have soooooo many stories of people asking about my hair and then another person trying to chime in and explain and don't know what the hell they're talking about.

The last time I was in a BSS and heard the vendor explain difference between their "virgin" Peruvian and "virgin" Brazilian is that the Peruvian is better. Better HOW? What makes it "better"? Dead I seriously laughed out loud.

I agree it's pretty much laughable and irritating at the same time.
