I couldn't even imagine if my husband said this to me. Afterall.....it's being found out women are molesting children more than folks thought. that said...I also understand...which ...is fucced up.

No, but I personally am more cautious about things because I have a young child. I would never want him to come to me and say someone I trusted him with did him harm.
But instead of feeding the fear of such by isolating him or thinking every thing pertaining to him was sexualized-I keep an open dialog with him and we talk about inappropriate touching.
I'll never forget my son was like 2 or 3 and at daycare, and the teacher said he hugged some girl from behind and wasn't sure if he saw that in my household, but suggested I be more careful.  A hug. I think that was her seeing something sexual where there wasn't anything sex-related intended. |

I don't think we're too pervertex or see sex in everything for no reason. I think it stems from having to be more cautious and aware.
Once upon a time, people probably more trusting. Then shocking incidents like rapes and molestations hitting too close to home happened, and people learned to be aware, watch for warning signs, and take preventive measures.
I admit some are probably more sexual and/or perverse, but a lot of it is just people being aware and cautious.

I think sexual curiosity happens in all children. I remember the games of House, Doctor and Hide and Go Git It. It's just that now the access that children have to sex is more....well...perverse. I found out enough to figure out where things go but I didn't have access to 2 girls 1 cup and the like.

It's too many people out here who have been molested for me to ever think that. I would love to do a survey to see how many people just on bhm alone have been molested or know someone who has.
