I'm in the higher 200s and 5'8 (was 5'7 obviously still growing lol) and people wouldn't think I weigh as much. Many doctors have told me and my mom that that is because we hold our weight porportionally .

Yes. Nobody guesses i'm in the 200's. I'm short, but my chest is HUGE and I have a big butt lol plus I'm on the solid side.. I used to be athletic so I think that's on my side as far as having muscle below the fat

I almost got in a 3/4 but my "Mom's hips" wouldn't let me, not even at 119....

I try not to get hung up on sizes, 

 but when i hit that scale I think.... NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Pinch

me too. I wonder if BMI works for "us". Even the doctors are surprised by my weight when they ask. And back in the days I joined weight watchers and the lady had me switch scales twice because she thought there was a mistake. I "should" have weighted more than I looked, lol.

i used to be 125 before and wore a 3/4 and sometimes a 5/6. Now that i'm 143 I wear the same thing...hehe it's sorta annoying because my bmi is highDead

I think that it is due to muscle tone/density. One person that is 140 and has very little muscle with a lot of fat looks big, while a person that has high muscle density and little fat looks tiny.
