does anyone still baggie for hair growth? i havent seen it mentioned in a long time. i have my hair in double strand twists (no extensions added) and i baggie my ends at night to keep them coily & moisturized for retention purposes.

Yes!

Baggying is a staple in my regimen.  Especially living in elevation, an arid, high-wind climate with snow 5 months out of the year.

NM is the home of the westerns, and tumble-weeds.  There is little to no humidity, thus, baggying is essential to keep the hair moist in this region.

Also, if i don't baggy? i get an acne rash from the moisturizers/oils that i put in my hair.  This seeps into the pillowcase - and of course, i roll my big ol' face right into it and get a pimple or two every time.

never stopped.  i think people dont mention it much anymore because it becomes second nature. its just the kind of thing that either you do it or you dont. like wearing a scarf and sleeping satin pillow cases, it just is.

Sure do , I do it every night without fail . It's always cold here now so its essential for my retention and i like that damp feeling in the morning so i can massage.

I use to GHE 3 times a week, but now I do not need to, at least not for moisture. My hair is in a good healthy state now. I may just start back next month, because I do get more growth when I GHE. I do get heat treatments because I deep condition every week. My hair loves the mild heat of my bonnet dryer, they do not get as hot as the hooded ones.

I do it every day without fail. On weekend I do onion mask to prevent shedding. Works wonders.

I do it only when my hair is extra dry, mainly in the winter months when regular moisturizing just won't do. I don't do it much in spring or summer though.

I whole head baggy/GHE at night because it stays on better than a satin scarf and feels great when I wake up. It's really great with braids because it ensures your hair underneath is getting moisturized as well. Yea I guess it's become second nature to most people that have been on a HHJ for long enough.

I GHE...same thing though.

IMO it helped my hair to maintain moisture when in a more natural curl pattern. And I definitely think it encouraged growth. Once I braid my hair down (since currently it's straight and loose), I'm going back to GHE'ing on Liquid Gold app days.

Sure do.  I just grab my hair and baggy my ends.  Every night.
