But Igbos are really diverse and each clan served a different god, has a different dialect and think more highly of themselves than others. So Igbo's didn't want to serve under Hausa people they just wanted to do their own thing. Yoruba's also agreed w/ Igbo's and didn't wanted to serve under Hausa's. So war came and it was time to fight, Igbo's tried but were at the losing end, they said now it's time for a supporters to help. Yourba's were like " time out, who said anything about fighting, nah were a peaceful people we agree with your stance but we won't help yall fight". Igbo's were pissed thinking " wow that's cold yall know we will lose with your help, don't trip we got yall". So that's what started the divide, but Nigeria has always been divided some area's more than others. But  Yourbas and Igbos get more along each other than with  Hausas. Hausas usually stick to themselves. That was what happened in laymen termsLOL

LOL Right, this type of explanation is right up my street! thank you so much (and all)

Right, I just looked at the multipletude of tribes through the internet since its my best source as of now to see the different groups and the colors that they wear. I see a lot of red and white with the Yoruba and I think some sects is directed due to Shango when I'm researching the god.

yeah that sucks, Hausas are rarely out here though. I really do wish that Nigeria can seprate though into a north nigera and south nigeria.
