So Igbo's didn't want to serve under Hausa people they just wanted to do their own thing. Yoruba's also agreed w/ Igbo's and didn't wanted to serve under Hausa's. So war came and it was time to fight, Igbo's tried but were at the losing end, they said now it's time for a supporters to help. Yourba's were like " time out, who said anything about fighting, nah were a peaceful people we agree with your stance but we won't help yall fight". Igbo's were pissed thinking " wow that's cold yall know we will lose with your help, don't trip we got yall". So that's what started the divide, but Nigeria has always been divided some area's more than others. But  Yourbas and Igbos get more along each other than with  Hausas. Hausas usually stick to themselves. That was what happened in laymen termsLOL

LOL Right, this type of explanation is right up my street! thank you so much (and all)

How did you come to that conclusion, that 'they' love wearing green? Plus she's Yoruba anyway.
